The Beginning to Now

History-Our Roots

Live Free Mindfully began in Dallas, Texas in 2016, originally launched as Live Free Yoga. Our early focus was on helping student-athletes and at-risk youth in Dallas schools build resilience and confidence through yoga and mindfulness. From those first classrooms, our mission has always been to empower people of all ages to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.

Our Transformation
As our impact expanded beyond athletics into classrooms, physical education, and professional development for educators, it became clear our mission had grown larger than youth yoga. In 2022, we became Live Free Mindfully (LFM) a name that better represents our vision of bringing mindfulness, movement, and social-emotional learning to schools, businesses, and communities everywhere.

Our Impact Today

For Schools & Educators: We deliver curriculum, training, and professional development aligned with academic standards and CASEL competencies. From Pre-K through high school, our programs help students focus, build positive relationships, and grow resilience, while supporting teacher wellness.

For Businesses & Organizations: We provide workplace wellness programs, mindfulness workshops, and retreats that reduce stress, strengthen teamwork, and improve performance.

For Individuals & Communities: We offer accessible classes, virtual programs, and mindfulness series designed to promote balance, health, and self-care at any stage of life.
